Day in the Cab with Devyn Van Camp - Integrated Solutions Consultant

Devyn Van Camp, Integrated Solutions Consultant for Riesterer & Schnell spent a day in the cab with Jack Zemlicka, Managing Editor for Precision Farming Dealer. Throughout the day, Jack could see what it takes to work alongside precision farming specialists during peak planting season. From dealing with planting emergencies, to keeping customers satisfied, Devyn faced it all. When several customers are calling on Devyn for assistance, he must rely on the service department to help mainstream the process. The two traveled a total of 150 miles and answered over two dozen phone calls. 

Lessons Learned:

  • Precision farming specialists must be able to deal with a variety of situations. Whether this be different crop types or brands of equipment, being able to handle diversification is key. 
  • It is also important to test and re-test equipment prior to the busy season. This not only helps teach customers how to utilize their technology, it helps create trust and enhances accuracy. To read the full article click here.
