The HarvestLab™ 3000 Grain Sensing solution enables customers to measure constituents like protein and oil in real-time during harvest. Every second the grain sensing system records and maps small grains moisture, protein, starch and oil as it is harvested. This information can be viewed in the combine, allowing you to make grain marketing decisions on-the-go, or in the John Deere Operations Center™. After your work is finished, utilize the Operations Center to view and analyze your work. This will allow you to:</p> <ul> <li>Know your protein and yield to accurately know how much nitrogen was removed and replace how much is needed, where it is needed, to sustainably optimize the yield for next year’s crop. This directly equates to per acre profit potential. Furthermore, this technology allows small grains farmers to reduce input costs and/or maximize yield and protein through better nutrient management or variety choice, by simply targeting points of the field where high-protein grain was harvested or focus on areas which didn’t reach the quality and/or yield targets.</li> <li>Increase profit per bushel of grain for high quality protein, starch or oil content. By knowing the constituent value of their grains, this solution enables producers to market their grain for the highest potential return at their local elevator and take advantage of premiums for constituent values like protein, starch and oil.</li> </ul> <p>These benefits can be unlocked for the crops and constituents as part of a separate Grain Sensing Calibration:</p> <table style="border-collapse: collapse;" border="1" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p> </p></td> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p><strong>Moisture</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 138.32px;"><p><strong>Protein</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 137.188px;"><p><strong>Starch</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 129.544px;"><p><strong>Oil</strong></p></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p><strong>Wheat</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 138.32px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 137.188px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 129.544px;"><p> </p></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p><strong>Barley</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 138.32px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 137.188px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 129.544px;"><p> </p></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p><strong>Canola</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 138.32px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 137.188px;"><p> </p></td> <td style="width: 129.544px;"><p>✔</p></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p><strong>Oats</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 138.32px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 137.188px;"><p> </p></td> <td style="width: 129.544px;"><p> </p></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p><strong>Rye</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 138.32px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 137.188px;"><p> </p></td> <td style="width: 129.544px;"><p> </p></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p><strong>Corn</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 138.32px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 137.188px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 129.544px;"><p> </p></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p><strong>Soybean</strong></p></td> <td style="width: 140.625px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 138.32px;"><p>✔</p></td> <td style="width: 137.188px;"><p> </p></td> <td style="width: 129.544px;"><p>✔</p></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p> </p> <div class="seccion-images"> <div> <img src="https://salesmanual.deere.com/customer/sales/salesmanual/images/NA/ams/grain_sensing/barley_harvest_map_864x422.jpg" alt="Yield and Protein map shown in Operations Center"> <span class="caption">Yield and Protein map shown in Operations Center</span> </div> </div></div></div></div></div><div class="accordion2_component"><div class="accordion2_top"><div class="text-size-medium text-weight-bold">Fully integrated on the combine and Operations Center</div><div class="accordion2_icon w-embed"><svg width="100%" height="100%" viewBox="0 0 32 32" fill="none" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg"><path d="M25.3333 15.667V16.3336C25.3333 16.7018 25.0349 17.0003 24.6667 17.0003H17V24.667C17 25.0351 16.7015 25.3336 16.3333 25.3336H15.6667C15.2985 25.3336 15 25.0351 15 24.667V17.0003H7.3333C6.96511 17.0003 6.66663 16.7018 6.66663 16.3336V15.667C6.66663 15.2988 6.96511 15.0003 7.3333 15.0003H15V7.33365C15 6.96546 15.2985 6.66699 15.6667 6.66699H16.3333C16.7015 6.66699 17 6.96546 17 7.33365V15.0003H24.6667C25.0349 15.0003 25.3333 15.2988 25.3333 15.667Z" fill="currentColor"></path></svg></div></div><div style="width: 1118px; height: 0px;" class="accordion2_bottom"><div class="margin-bottom margin-small"><div><div class="seccion-images"> <div> <img src="https://salesmanual.deere.com/customer/sales/salesmanual/images/NA/ams/grain_sensing/fully_integrated_r2c011872_lsc.jpg" alt="Grain Sensing is fully machine integrated and connected to Operations Center"> <span class="caption">Grain Sensing is fully machine integrated and connected to Operations Center</span> </div> </div> <p>Grain Sensing is fully integrated on our John Deere S700 series combines, S7 combines, X9 combines and T combines, allowing it to work seamlessly together with other components like the StarFire™ receiver and Gen 4 and G5 display to enable site-specific documentation of the constituents and yield.
